The Saatchi Gallery has launched a new art prize for a student graduating this year in the UK. The competition, 4 New Sensations, will run in partnership with Channel 4 which is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Entrants will be asked to submit their response to the theme The World in 25 Years along with examples of their previous work. A panel of art experts will select four finalists who will each receive £1,000 and be featured in a short film broadcast on Channel 4. They will also have the opportunity to display their work during Frieze Art Fair in October. The ultimate winner of a £3,000 prize will be chosen by a public vote.
