Groundwork Cheshire, Lancashire & Merseyside

The Down To Earth programme was so named to reflect local people’s love for green spaces and their grounded attitude. We believe in the profound impact of using Wigan’s green spaces as platforms for cultural engagement. From our homes, our bustling streets, parks, schools and best-loved places, we're on a mission to create powerful cultural experiences that are accessible and enriching.

Through a collaborative consortium comprising of Groundwork, Wigan Council, Lancashire Wildlife Trust and Everything Human Rights, we're creating pathways for everyone to become not just observers, but active participants, shapers and advocates of our shared cultural heritage.
