Rambert Dance Company has appointed Nadia Stern to replace Sue Wyatt as Chief Executive. She has previously worked at Sadlers Wells and as Interim Chief Executive of Talawa and Interim Executive Director for Hampstead Theatre.

Josie Rourke is the new Artistic Director of The Bush Theatre, taking over from Mike Bradwell who is stepping down after ten years in the post.

Rebecca Morland is to leave her post as Administrative Director of Bristol Old Vic to pursue a freelance arts management career.

Following three years as Head of Performance at The Junction, Cambridge, Lucia Hogg has been appointed as UK Producer and Company Manager for Reckless Sleepers on a part-time basis. She will also be continuing her work as a freelance Creative Producer.

Jake Roney has joined Action Transport Theatre as General Manager/Deputy Chief Executive. He previously worked at Southport Arts Centre as Programme Manager and was Director of The Citadel Arts Centre, St Helens.

The Lightbox, Wokings new gallery and museum due to open this summer, has appointed Hamish MacGillivray (pictured) as its first Exhibitions Manager. He has previously worked at Croydon Clocktower and as Arts Officer for Lewes District Council.

Stephen Unwin is to step down as Director of English Touring Theatre after 15 years with the company. He will leave in the summer of 2008 to pursue other projects.

Southbank Centre has announced that Jarvis Cocker will be the Artistic Director of its 2007 Meltdown festival.

Judy Thomas will be the new Learning and Inclusion Programme Manager for Liverpool Biennial. She is currently Acting Head of Education and Public Programme at Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, and replaces Sharon Paulger, who has taken up the post of Director of Inter-Action MK, a community arts charity in Milton Keynes.

Jemima Montagu has left her role as Visual Arts Officer (Public Realm) for Arts Council England, London, to work for the cultural heritage charity the Turquoise Mountain Foundation in Kabul.

Conductor Martyn Brabbins is this year stepping down from his post as Artistic Director of the Cheltenham Music Festival. Until his successor is found, planning for the 2008 festival will be covered by Christopher Cook, Chair of the Music Advisory Committee, and Helen Bishop-Stephens, Artistic Administrator.

Moves, an independent screen art organisation, has appointed Pascale Moyse (pictured) as Executive Director. She has previously run several international festivals including the Commonwealth Film Festival in Manchester (UK).

Janey Moran, previously Marketing & Audience Development Manager at TEAM, the audience development agency for Merseyside, is the new Dance Development Officer for Warrington Borough Council, based at Pyramid Arts Centre.

Hazard Chase has announced the appointment of artist manager Matt Fretton to work at its new London office. He has previously worked in classical music management with Askonas Holt, Harrison Parrott and latterly his own company, Ferus.

Julian Anderson has been appointed Professor of Composition and Composer-in-Residence at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Richard Baker will be Deputy Head of Composition, with Paul Newland and Emily Hall as new composition professors.

Timothy Sheader (pictured) will succeed Ian Talbot as Artistic Director at the Open Air Theatre, Regents Park. He began his career as a trainee director at The Orange Tree, before working as an Assistant Director at the RSC and subsequently as a freelance director.

Lynda Scott is joining the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council as Director of Communications. She was previously with the Office for Criminal Justice Reform.

Stagecraft Theatre Services has appointed Jamie Maisey (pictured) as Project Manager with responsibility for managing new installations at schools, theatres and live event venues.

Kieran Healey, Marketing Manager, C venues, has been appointed as Business Manager at the publicity firm Ediacom Arts and Media Communication.

Caroline Griffin, Programme Director at Audiences Central, is the new Chair of Birmingham-based publisher Tindal Street Press.
