English National Opera has announced the appointment of Vernon Ellis as its new Chairman. Currently International Chairman at Accenture, he has been a member of the ENO board since 2001 and has been acting Chairman since December 2005.

The London 2012 Organising Committee for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games has appointed Bill Morris, currently Project Director of Live Events for the BBC, as its Ceremonies, Culture and Education Director.

Donna Hamilton, previously an officer at MEDIA Antennae, has joined Glasgows Cultural Enterprise Office as Project Administrator. Kim Coleman has been appointed as Marketing & Events Co-ordinator.

Robyn Archer has resigned as Artistic Director of Liverpool Culture Company, citing personal reasons.

Milton Keynes Theatre & Gallery Company has appointed Pat Swell (pictured), formerly a member of Arts Council Englands Capital Department and Co-Director of Buckinghamshire Arts Association, as Strategic Director. Kate OBrien, currently Northamptonshire County Councils Literature Development Officer, has been appointed Strategic Assistant.

Margaret Levin, who has been Head of Marketing for Aldeburgh Productions since 2002, has been appointed as the first Marketing Manager at Haverhill Arts Centre, with particular responsibility for audience development . She is succeeded by Marc Ernesti, who was previously Head of Press, Public Relations and Marketing at The European Centre for the Arts Hellerau in Dresden.

Sarah Gee has left the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra after seven years to become Managing Consultant of DixonRaines Ltd.

William Brown (pictured) has been appointed to the post of National Security Advisor for the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council, taking over from Iain Slessor who held the post for seven years.

The new Education Manger at The Castle in Wellingborough is Sarah Chiswell, who joins from Leicester College, where she has been teaching theatre for the past five years. She is also Artistic Director of Wired Youth Theatre.

Oxfords Pegasus Theatre has appointed Jacqueline Cutting as its new Head of Development.

Tom Sweetman, Press and Marketing Manager at Oldham Coliseum Theatre, is leaving to join a commercial marketing company.

Watford Palace Theatre has announced that its new Artistic Director will be Brigid Larmour, founding Artistic Director of Act Productions and previously a freelance director.

James Green, former Programmes Manager at the Harris Museum and Art Gallery in Preston, has become Director of Newlyn Art Gallery, Cornwall.

The Junction in Cambridge has launched Enter, an initiative aimed at raising the profile of new technology arts. Annette Wolfsberger (pictured), previously Producer and Production Manager at Amsterdams Melkweg arts centre, will be Enters Festival Director. Sarah Thompson, previously at the British Film Institute, will be Development Manager.

Sarah Barrow has left the Independent Theatre Council where she was Events Co-ordinator.

The European Union Youth Orchestra has appointed Derek Warby (pictured), until recently Chief Executive of the Orchestra of St Johns, as General Manager and Anne Tillotson as Orchestra Manager.

Sinead MacManus, Frantic Assemblys Administration and Education Manager, is leaving to set up project/arts, an arts consultancy specialising in project management and training for the performing arts. She is succeeded by Laura Sutton, previously Administrator at Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company.

The Theatre Royal Winchester has named Francesca Millican-Slater as its new Front of House Assistant Manager. She was previously Box Office and Administration Assistant at the Royal Albert Hall. Laura Bailey, an arts management graduate from De Montfort University in Leicester, has been appointed Marketing Assistant and Dan Baker is the new Theatre and Education Administrator. Sarah Kelly and Ben Ireland are new members of the theatres box office team.

Paula McFetridge, previously Artistic Director of the Lyric Theatre, is taking over from Karl Wallace as Artistic Director of Kabosh.
