She was previously Development Director at CityArts, Dublin, and prior to that was Director of Communications and Development at the London International Festival of Theatre.

Mary Caws, Executive Director of Watford Palace Theatre since 2001, is leaving to pursue a freelance career.

Hilary Davan Wetton, founder of Milton Keynes City Orchestra, is to be succeeded as Principal Conductor by Sian Edwards, who is currently Principal Guest Conductor.

Peter Burchill has left Creative Partnerships Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham to be the new Company Manager for the Open Performance Centre and Point Blank Theatre Company in Sheffield.

Harpsichordist and conductor Matthew Halls has been appointed as Associate Director of The Kings Consort.

Arts & Health South West, a new regional forum for arts and health practitioners has appointed Emma Williams as Co-ordinator.

Arts Council England Yorkshire has appointed Martin Mundy as Assistant Officer, Grants Administration. He previously worked for the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Julia McInally is the new Operations Manager for Creative Partnerships Sheffield.


Ruth Jones (pictured), formerly Director of the Community Foundation for Wiltshire and Swindon, has left to set up an independent youth arts consultancy, involved in training and project management services.

Creative Partnerships in Dewsbury has appointed Caroline Brown as Regional Administrator. She previously ran the Contemporary Gallery in Brighton.

Alison Povey has left Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival to become Administrator for Music4U, the Youth Music action zone in the Humber region. She will also work part-time as Tour Manager for Tutti Frutti Productions. She is succeeded as Festival Manager by Nicola Cassidy.
