Tony Jones is leaving the management team at City Screen, which he co-founded in 1989, to concentrate on developing the Cambridge Film Festival and work as a freelance consultant. He will remain a shareholder and non-executive board member at City Screen, which is the UK?s largest exhibitor of arthouse film.

Andrew Aughton, currently Chief Executive of Buxton Opera House, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of Cheltenham?s Everyman Theatre to succeed Philip Bernays, who is moving to the Theatre Royal in Newcastle.

Claire Rhodes has joined Buxton Festival as Business Development Officer. She previously worked as a volunteer for Buxton Festival and Oldham Coliseum.

Gasworks has appointed Alessio Antoniolli as its new Director. He previously ran the residency programme and Arts Council England?s International Fellowship Programme at the organisation.

Kentaké Chinyelu-Hope is the new Chair of Arts Council England, South East and François Matarasso is the new Chair of Arts Council England, East Midlands. Both have also become members of the national Arts Council.

The University of Manchester has named Dr Nick Merriman as the new Director for The Manchester Museum. One of 27 Fellows taking part in this year?s Clore Leadership Programme, he takes over from the outgoing Director Tristram Besterman who will retire early next year.

Sarah Atkins has taken over from Matt Langridge as Project Officer for the youth arts project Gravity. She previously worked for the Brighton Institute of Modern Music.

The new Director of the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury will be Deborah Rees (pictured), who was previously Administrative Director of Worcester Swan Theatre and has been General Manager of Compass Theatre and Red Shift Theatre Company. She succeeds Robert Hamlin.

After five years as Head of Marketing at Edinburgh International Film Festival, Richard Baker is moving to become Vice President International Marketing at the New York office of The Weinstein Company.

The Dukes has appointed Rob Salmon to the new role of Education Officer. He has previously worked for the New Vic, Stafford Gatehouse and Salisbury Playhouse.

Judith Butler, General Manager of British Youth Opera since 2000, has been appointed as its Chief Executive. Three new Trustees, Peter Bingle, Hazel Ellis and Richard Greenhalgh have also been elected to the Board.
