After 13 years as Head of Finance at Birmingham Hippodrome James Prescott-Martin is leaving to take up the position of Bursar at RADA.

Creative Arts East, formed from a merger of four independent arts groups, has expanded its workforce with Greg Tebble from Cinema City in Norwich joining as General Manager.

Debbie Thomas is the new Arts in the Community Officer at Bristol City Council. She was previously a freelance dance manager and Development Manager for the Association of Dance of the African Diaspora in London.


Formerly Festival Manager at Harrogate International Festival, Fiona Goh (pictured) has left to pursue a career as a consultant.

Andrew Whitlaw has left his role as Head of Development at Northern Ballet Theatre to begin training as a professional actor.

Edinburgh Book Festival has appointed Karen Mountney, previously Programme Officer (Children and Young People) at the Scottish Poetry Library, as Children?s Programme Director, as Marc Lambert moves on to become Chief Executive of the Scottish Book Trust. Liz Hughes is now Marketing and PR Manager, having previously worked as Marketing Manager with Theatre Workshop in Edinburgh.

Paulene Hamilton has been appointed as Project Director of the Greenwich Craft Foundation at Greenwich Community College in London. She was previously Chief Executive at Cockpit Arts.

Northern Stage Ensemble has announced that Richard Bliss will take up the new post of Director of Communications. He joins the Company from Northern Arts. Duska Radosavljevic Heaney has been appointed Dramaturg.

Sorelle White has joined Women & Theatre as General Manager. She was formerly owner of Plum Source arts & media consultancy and development producer for The Education & Training Channel.

Tracey Kelly has taken up the position of Head of Development at The Centre for Contemporary Arts in Glasgow. She was previously Marketing and Communications Manager at Glasgow Science Centre.

Susannah Kraft Levene joins Sphinx Theatre Company as its new General Manager, following ten years as Administrative Director of productions for Clean Break Theatre Company. Kim Greengrass takes up the new post of Education Director and Clare Lizzimore will be Assistant to the Artistic Director until Spring 2003. Amy Rosenthal, previously a playwright in residence for Manchester Royal Exchange is now Resident Dramatist.


Jon Bradfield (pictured), formerly Marketing Officer with Birmingham Royal Ballet has joined Out of Joint as Marketing Manager.

Lucy Potter, formerly General Manager of the Manchester Camerata, is to succeed Graham Pfaff as Chief Executive of English Sinfonia in November and Gavin Reid, formerly the orchestra?s Education Co-ordinator has taken over her role.

Artifax has recruited new staff to work on the introduction of its ticketing software, including Karl Vosper, former Box Office Manager at the Royal Opera House, as Product Manager; and Pam Bowring, former Administration Manager at the Dorking Halls as Project Administrator.
