Chair of Creative Scotland SIR SANDY CROMBIE will stand down in December at the end of his four year tenure and will not seek a second term in the post. The former Standard Life Chief Executive was the first Chair, when Creative Scotland was launched in 2010. The announcement follows a prolonged period of upheaval within the organisation and public criticism of its management, which led to the resignation of Chief Executive ANDREW DIXON in January 2013. Crombie, said “I feel confident Creative Scotland is now well established and in a good place in terms of leadership, direction, and budgets.”
