The Arts Council of England has published new strategies on Street Arts and Circus including a commitment to increase funding available through its National Touring programme by 15%. Informed by research and consultation across the two sectors the strategy also includes a commitment to provide dedicated officer support.

Rural Arts East has received a RALP award of £100,000 to strengthen its role as the arts development agency for Norfolk, by incorporating Create!, Word Waves and Norfolk Arts Marketing. The grant will be used to develop a new brand, produce a strategic marketing plan, cover relocation costs, and undertake staff development.

The Arts and Humanities Research Boardis offering new Fellowships in the Creative and Performing Arts, which provide support for higher education institutions to appoint full-time researchers in practice-based creative and performing arts for up to three years.
