James Purnell

Former Labour culture secretary JAMES PURNELL is returning to the BBC in a new role as Director of Strategy and Digital. He left politics in 2010 and is currently a senior producer at production company Rare Day and an adviser at Boston Consulting Group, having previously worked for the BBC from 1995 to 1997 as Head of Corporate Planning.
