News ? Opera North performs at Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona

Opera North was the first British company to be invited to perform at the re-furbished Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona theatre following a devastating fire there in 1994.
The visit included performances of the Spanish premier of Britten?s Gloriana and five performances of Annabel Arden?s new production of Janacek?s The Cunning Little Vixen. The tour was sponsored by Schroder Investment Management which has a strong commitment to supporting the arts and strong ties to Catalunya.
