Alistair Wilkinson (pictured), currently Deputy Chief Executive and Head of Programming at Lighthouse, Pooles Centre for the Arts, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive, taking over from Ruth Eastwood who will be the new Chief Executive for Leicester Theatres Trust.

Eight years after joining the Scottish Ensemble as Chief Executive, Heather Duncan is moving on to become Head of Concerts and Programming at the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

The new Director of Marketing at Rambert Dance Company will be Craig Titley, who has spent the last five years as Head of Sales and Marketing at Watford Palace Theatre. Francesca Eyles has been promoted to PR and Communications Manager, and Wendy Teng has joined as Finance Administrator, from her previous position as Team Leader of Finance and Administration with Camden Jobtrain. She takes over from Martin Thompson who is retiring after 13 years with the company.

Ruth Mackenzie OBE has been named as Manchester International Festivals General Director. She was previously Artistic Director of Chichester Festival Theatre, General Director of Scottish Opera and Chief Executive of Nottingham Playhouse.

The Chief Executive of Truro Cathedral, Richard Glover (pictured), is to become the new Chief Executive of the Royal Cornwall Polytechnic Society, the charity that runs Falmouth Arts Centre. He has previously directed Cornwall Arts Marketing and worked as Development Officer for the Tate Gallery St Ives.

The Scottish Arts Council has appointed Moira Jeffrey, formerly visual arts writer for The Herald newspaper, as its new Visual Arts Officer. Wendy Law is the new Manager Own Art /Collection and Sales Development in the Visual Arts Department.

Sandra Woods, formerly at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal, has been appointed as the Audience Development Co-ordinator for Cumbria for Alliance, a partnership between TEAM, Arts About Manchester, and Arts Council England North West. Andrea Nix is joining TEAM as Senior Audience Development Manager. She was previously Marketing Manager for Art Connections.

FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) has announced that its Director, Gill Henderson, will be leaving in September to take up the role of Director of CreateKX, a creative and cultural development agency for Kings Cross in London. Laura Finn, formerly of BBC Radio Merseyside, joins the organisation as its new Press and Communications Manager, while Rosie Farrell leaves the audience development agency TEAM to become FACTs Marketing Assistant.

Julia Twomlow (pictured), one of the first cohort of Clore Fellows, has joined Perfect Moment Consultancy as a Development Consultant. She was formerly Director of the Acorn Theatre, Penzance, and manages the Polish ensemble Kroke.

Fiona Cameron has left her role as Membership Co-ordinator for the Independent Theatre Council to join The Clore Leadership Programme as Assistant Administrator.

After five years as General Manager at Ex Cathedra, Lucy Reid is going to work for the National Trust as Property Manager of Coughton Court in Warwickshire.

All Ways Learning has appointed Naomi Trickey, previously Senior Product Manager at BBC News Interactive, to the post of Programmes Manager. Jean Floodgate and Barbara Matthews have been appointed to All Ways Learnings Board.

Helen Hillman, who previously worked with Oxford Stage Company and also works with Shared Experience, will be covering as General Manager for Susannah Kraft Levene at Sphinx Theatre Company from November 2006 to March 2007. Bailey Lock, previously Administrative Assistant with the Performing Arts Network and Development Agency, is joining as the new Administrator.

Anna Reid (pictured) has left her position as Manager of The Art House to take on the role of Director at Pavilion in Leeds.

Elizabeth Gilmore has joined Arts Council England South East as Head of Visual Arts. She has worked in museums and galleries for the past ten years, and previously managed the Community and Outreach Programme at the National Gallery in London.

Helen Elliot is the new Box Office Assistant at Harrogate Theatre, replacing Robert Lynch who has joined Leeds College of Music as Marketing Officer.
