Leicester Theatre Trust has appointed Ruth Eastwood (pictured), as Chief Executive to oversee the development and move from Leicesters Haymarket Theatre into a new Performing Arts Centre. She has been Chief Executive at Lighthouse, Pooles Centre for the Arts, for nine years.

Hannah Firth, Visual Arts Programmer at Chapter in Cardiff, has been appointed by the Arts Council of Wales to be the Curator for Wales at the Venice Biennale of Art 2007. Prior to working at Chapter she was Acting Director of Stills Gallery, Edinburgh.

Audiences Yorkshire has recruited two members of staff: Will Menzies, previously the Finance Manager at the Creative and Cultural Skills Council, will be the new Finance and Operations Manager, and Ruth Puckering, previously Marketing and Press Co-ordinator for Creation Theatre Company, will be the Marketing Co-ordinator for the illuminate festival.

BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art has announced the appointment of Jérôme Sans as its new Director of Programme. Currently living in Paris, he was the Founder and previously Co-Director of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.

Jo Egerton (pictured) has joined the staff of Hampshire Dance as Regional Youth Dance Coordinator for the South East. She was previously Dance Development Officer for West Sussex County Council. The new Chair of Hampshire Dance is freelance arts consultant Peter Taylor.

Vicki Wright has joined Youth Music as Principal Officer, National Co-ordinator of Youth Music Action Zones and MusicLeader. She previously worked at the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music where she was Development Manager.

The Academy of Ancient Music has announced the appointment of Richard Egarr, currently AAMs Associate Director, as Music Director to succeed founder Christopher Hogwood, who will assume the lifetime title of Emeritus Director.

Former Director of the Camberwell Arts Festival Jacqui Ibbotson (pictured) is the new Arts and Learning Co-ordinator at Oxford Inspires, the cultural development agency for Oxford and Oxfordshire.

The board of the Film Agency for Wales has announced the appointment of Pauline Burt as Chief Executive. She has spent the past four and a half years in commercial film finance as an Associate at Mansfield Associates in London.

Lisa Goldman (pictured) will be the new Artistic Director at Soho Theatre. She is currently Artistic Director of The Red Room, which she co-founded in 1995.

Platform for Art, the art programme for London Underground, has appointed curator Tamsin Dillon as its new Head.

Rambert Dance Company has appointed Katy Spicer to the new position of General Manager. She is currently working with Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Michelle Normanly has joined Rambert to take over the role of Development Administrator from Jessye Parke, who has been promoted to the role of Development Officer following the departure of Stephanie Slack.

North Lands Creative Glass, one of Europes leading centres of excellence for international master classes and residencies for professional artists, is welcoming Peter Aldridge as its new Chief Executive Officer. Until recently Vice President and Creative Director of the American company Steuben Glass, he will be returning to live and work in the UK after an absence of nearly 30 years.

Jo Ditch (pictured) is to be the first General Manager of the Grove Theatre in Dunstable, South Bedfordshire District Councils new £16m arts and entertainment venue that will open in 2007. She was previously manager of Trafalgar Studios, formerly the Whitehall Theatre, and prior to that was a manager at the Phoenix Theatre in London.

Blackbaud Ticketing has appointed Olly Wiltshire as Account Executive responsible for sales of The Patron Edge ticketing and marketing software system. He previously worked with both Tickets.com and Gladstone.

Jo Dereza has joined South West Arts Marketing to cover Kate Smiths maternity leave. She joins from Exeter Phoenix, where she was Marketing Manager for five years.

Whitney Goulstone has left her role as Information and Research Officer for the Voluntary Arts Network and will be replaced by Daniel Carpenter.
