The first civil partnership at the New Wimbledon Theatre took place earlier this month when theatre employee Peter Burton and his partner Mark Armstrong made their vows on stage in front of over 200 guests.
Guests were treated to a performance by Cuban cabaret singer Margarita Pracatan (pictured with the couple) who said, Congratulations to Mark and Peter, I love them very much. It was a great honour to perform for them and I wish them happiness and love for their life together. I had a wonderful time. I love you darlings. This is the first wedding or civil partnership to be hosted at The New Wimbledon Theatre, which is one of only two Ambassadors theatres licensed to host weddings and civil partnership ceremonies.
