Cheltenhams Everyman theatre has announced the appointment of Geoffrey Rowe (pictured) as its new Chief Executive. Formerly Administrator at The Crucible Theatre and The Lyceum in Sheffield and, more recently, working for Welsh National Opera as Director of Finance and Administration, for the past two years he has worked on a freelance basis.

Dominic Cooke, currently Associate Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, will succeed Ian Rickson in the post of Artistic Director of the Royal Court theatre in January 2007. He was formerly Associate Director of the Royal Court.

Manchester International Festival and the citys universities have appointed Dr Jennifer Cleary as the Higher Education Festival Manager. She was previously Technology Exploitation Manager at TrusTECH, an organisation providing innovation management for NHS trusts.

Fiona OMahony is the new Producer at Farnham Maltings. She will develop new rural touring theatre from the venue.

George Piper Dances has appointed Kerry Whelan as General Manager. He takes over from Louise Shand-Brown.

Lawrence Till (pictured), Artistic Director of the Watford Palace Theatre, is leaving to pursue a freelance career.

Penny Mills is leaving the Royal Court after five years as Head of Marketing to join Audiences London as Strategic Marketing Manager. Ana Gross, a recent graduate of Kings College, has been appointed as the new Research Assistant.

Tracy Zanelli, previously a stage door receptionist at Sadlers Wells, is the new Receptionist/Administrator at Jerwood Space, succeeding Lizzy Ferguson.
