English National Opera has announced that Seán Doran, Artistic Director and Chief Executive, is leaving the organisation. With immediate effect Loretta Tomasi, Executive Director, has become Chief Executive and John Berry, previously Director of Opera Programming, has taken over the role of Artistic Director.

Jessica Hepburn (pictured) is the new Executive Director of the Lyric Hammersmith. Previously Director of Communications at the London venue, she will be replacing Simon Mellor who is leaving to become Producing Director for the new Manchester International Festival. She joins David Farr the organisations Artistic Director as Co-Chief Executive of the theatre.

Following a lengthy internal structural review, the Crafts Council has announced that its Director, Louise Taylor, is stepping down to pursue other opportunities. Its Chair, Sir Nicholas Goodison, is retiring and will be succeeded by Dr Julian Stair on an interim basis.

Jacqueline Contré, previously Director of Operations at the Drum, has been appointed as Acting Director at artSites Birmingham.

Shared Experience has appointed Sharon John, previously a Fast Track trainee at the organisation, as Administrator. She replaces Jane Claire who has moved to become General Manager at English Touring Theatre.

Software provider AudienceView has appointed Rob Edwards (pictured), previously European General Manager at Tickets.com, as the General Manager of its London-based division.

Debra King is the Programme Manager of Undergrowth Australian Arts UK, a two year programme of contemporary Australian arts in Britain.

Caro Howell is the new Head of Education and Public Events at the Whitechapel Art Gallery.

Roland Muldoon, Artistic Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Hackney Empire, and Claire Muldoon, its Head of Programming, are leaving the theatre at the end of the year. Simon Thomsett, former General Manager, is the new Chief Executive.

Derek Warby, Chief Executive of the Orchestra of St Johns, has resigned his post.

Honor Wilson-Fletcher, currently Head of Marketing at the British Museum, has been appointed Director of Marketing at the South Bank Centre, where she will start in March next year.

Katherine Flynn has joined DanceXchange, the Dance Agency for Birmingham and the West Midlands, as Marketing and Press Officer. She was previously Audience Development Officer at The Hat Factory in Luton.

The Commonwealth Film Association has appointed Ronke Adeyemi as Press and Marketing Officer. She has previously worked for the Streatham Festival and in film public relations.

The PRS Foundation for New Music has appointed Charlotte Ray (pictured), previously Events Director at Spitalfields Festival, as its new Manager. She will replace David Francis, who joined the Contemporary Music Network in September.

Louise Anderson, formerly Live Literature Scotland Administrator with the Scottish Book Trust, has joined The Fruitmarket Gallery, in Edinburgh as Press and Marketing Manager.

Following a strategic review and restructure, Theatre-rites has appointed Claire Templeton, previously a Theatre Officer at Arts Council England London, as its new Executive Producer. Jo Stendall is also joining the company from Arts Council England London to take over as Administrator from Jill Shelley, who is becoming Project Manager. Sharon Kivity, Development & PR Manager, is leaving the organisation early next year.

Eve MacDonald, formerly Marketing Manager at Wycombe Swan, has left to work in marketing and communications for a leading pharmaceutical company.

Compton Verney, Warwickshires largest art gallery, has appointed Kathleen Soriano (pictured) as Director. She is currently the Head of Exhibitions and Collections Management at the National Portrait Gallery, London, having worked there for 17 years, initially as Exhibitions Officer.

The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama has appointed Christopher Underwood as its new Director of Corporate Relations, and Bryan Beattie as Strategic Adviser.
