The Affordable Art Fair, taking place in London?s Battersea Park from 20 to 23 October, will be donating the money raised from admissions to its private view to the Koestler Trust, the prison arts charity that encourages the arts in prisons and special institutions.

The Trust will also have its own stand at the Fair, exhibiting work by prisoners and young offenders past and present. It will be among 125 leading galleries at the Fair, all exhibiting paintings, sculpture, photography and original prints priced under £3,000. The Nicholas Bowlby Gallery will be showing work by former prison inmates and Koestler prize winners Peter Cameron (pictured) and Ray Scobie, who now work as professional artists. The Fair is widely recognised as playing an important role in breaking down barriers to the art world. Visitors can also view garden sculpture, participate in sculpture and printmaking workshops, and attend the Recent Graduate Exhibition, showcasing the work of up-and-coming artists.
