Less than two years after taking up a post as Executive Director of Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre, MARK DOBSON has announced he will be stepping down to “pursue other interests”. He was previously Chief Executive of Tyneside Cinema.
CAROLE WINTER, who set up and ran the education departments for both the National Theatre and the English Shakespeare Company, has been appointed the first ever in-house producer at Tunbridge Wells’ Assembly Hall Theatre.
Currently General Manager and Head of Operations at Summerhall in Edinburgh, SAM GOUGH will join Glasgow’s Tron Theatre as Executive Director in September. He replaces LESLEY RENTON.

After two and a half years as Head of Press at the National Theatre, VICKY KINGTON has accepted a new role as Head of Communications at the Royal Opera House. The theatre’s current Deputy Head of Press, RUTH GREENWOOD, will take over as Interim Head of Press.
