Welsh National Opera has announced the appointment of three new members to its board: arts consultant and broadcaster ANDREW MILLER, Chief Executive of Opera Rara HENRY LITTLE and OverTier Chief Executive SAM JONES.

Orchestras for All has announced SUSANNA EASTBURN MBE as its new Chair of Trustees. She has been Chief Executive of Sound and Music, the national organisation for new music in the UK, since 2012, and has previously worked in various other senior roles in the arts, including Director, Music at Arts Council England from 2008-2012.

NATALIA FRANKLIN PIERCE has been appointed Executive Director of nonclassical. She joins from the London Symphony Orchestra’s Discovery team, where she manages the Panufnik Composers, LSO Soundhub and LSO Jerwood Composer+ schemes. She succeeds ELEANOR WARD, who is leaving to work as a freelance creative producer.

SANTTU-MATIAS ROUVALI is succeeding ESA-PEKKA SALONEN as Principal Conductor at the Philharmonia Orchestra for the 2021/22 season. He first conducted the Philharmonia in 2013 and has been their Principal Guest Conductor since 2017.
