Director of Dance UK since 2006, CAROLINE MILLER will stand down in March ahead of the organisation’s completed merger with three other dance bodies. A new director of the unified organisation, One Dance UK, will be announced shortly.
SUSAN GILCHRIST, Group Chief Executive of the international communications firm the Brunswick Group, will become the first female Chairman of the Southbank Centre when she replaces RICK HAYTHORNTHWAITE.
Formerly of the Whitworth in Manchester, BRYONY BOND is the Tetley’s new Creative Director. She will be joined by President of Leeds Chamber of Commerce, GERALD JENNINGS, who has been appointed Chair of Trustees.
Composer, songwriter and actor DAVID CHABEAUX is to join the Derby City Cultural Campus as Producer of the project.

Tate’s FRANCES MORRIS will succeed CHRIS DERCON as Director of Tate Modern. She joined the organisation as Curator in 1987, becoming Head of Displays at Tate Modern from 2000 to 2006 and then Director of Collection, International Art.

Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society’s new Chief Executive is SHONA MCCARTHY. The cultural consultant, who was responsible for leading Derry-Londonderry’s year as UK City of Culture, will take up the post in early March. She replaces KATH MAINLAND who stepped down after seven years in post.
ADAM KNIGHT has been appointed as the new Executive Director of Sherman Cymru, to replace MARGARET JONES who stepped down last year. Currently General Manager of The Edinburgh Playhouse, he will leave The Ambassador Theatre Group to take up the post in April. He has previously held positions at the Grand Opera House in Belfast, London’s Savoy Theatre and Trafalgar Studios.
ANDREW SHEPHERD will replace JEREMY WOODHOUSE as Executive Director of Theatre503 when he moves to join English Touring Theatre. Shepherd founded ACS Random in 2002 before joining Young Actors Theatre Islington as Development Manager.
Founder Director of Maverick TV and High Sheriff of the West Midlands JONNIE TURPIE MBE is the new Chair of the board for mac birmingham. New trustee SHARON LEA, who was formerly Strategic Director at Birmingham City Council, will join him.
