One Dance UK has appointed ANDREW HURST, currently part of the senior management team at The Royal Ballet, as its first Chief Executive. He will take up his post in April, when the organisation is officially formed from the merger of four dance bodies.

Freelance producer and arts consultant CONRAD LYNCH is to join Theatre by the Lake as Artistic Director and Chief Executive. Previously Producer for ATG, he replaces Executive Director PATRIC GILCHRIST and Artistic Director IAN FORREST, who will both stand down later this year.
LISA MEAD and ROBERT SAUNDERS have been promoted to Artistic Director and Administrative Director respectively at spoken word and performance poetry organisation Apples and Snakes.
GARETH BINNS, who has been with the Institute of Imagination since 2011 as Director of Content and Learning, has been promoted to Chief Executive of the organisation.
Stratford-upon-Avon’s Orchestra of the Swan has selected SUSAN POPE to be its first ever Learning and Participation Manager. She has previously managed education services at Bromsgrove’s Avoncroft Museum and Museums Worcestershire.
GAVAN MISA, formerly Export Shipping Manager at Martinspeed, has joined Crown Fine Art as Head of Gallery Services.

Director of Dance UK since 2006, CAROLINE MILLER will stand down in March ahead of the organisation’s completed merger with three other dance bodies. A new director of the unified organisation, One Dance UK, will be announced shortly.
SUSAN GILCHRIST, Group Chief Executive of the international communications firm the Brunswick Group, will become the first female Chairman of the Southbank Centre when she replaces RICK HAYTHORNTHWAITE.
Formerly of the Whitworth in Manchester, BRYONY BOND is the Tetley’s new Creative Director. She will be joined by President of Leeds Chamber of Commerce, GERALD JENNINGS, who has been appointed Chair of Trustees.
Composer, songwriter and actor DAVID CHABEAUX is to join the Derby City Cultural Campus as Producer of the project.
