After 23 years with theatre company Out of Joint, founding Director MAX STAFFORD-CLARK will leave the company to focus on his international freelance work. The announcement follows the appointment of a Joint Artistic Director, KATE WASSERBERG, earlier this year.
MAX ROBERTS, Artistic Director at Live Theatre for the past 30 years, is stepping down. He will take on a new role as Emeritus Director at the theatre and continue his work as Visiting Professor of Performing Arts at the University of Sunderland.

TONY HALES, Chair of the Greenwich Foundation and a board member of the Welsh National Opera, will take over as Chair of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) when DAME COLETTE BOWE ends her term in September 2018, after six years in post.
MARK LAVILLE is taking up the role of Senior Lecturer at Falmouth University, where he will co-ordinate the new degree in Theatre and Performance. He will step down as Artistic Director of the Barbican Theatre in Plymouth after 26 years in post.

Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Dance Umbrella, EMMA GLADSTONE, has been appointed as the new Chair of Siobhan Davies Dance. She is to replace current Chair PAUL MORRELL OBE, who will be stepping down after 15 years’ association with the organisation.
SUSAN MORRISON has been elected to the board of Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society in the Show Participant category. She is joined by SHARON BURGESS in the Venue category, and RICHARD WISEMAN in the Open category.
