Chartered Institute of Fundraising announces Docherty as Chief Executive

KATIE DOCHERTY has been appointed as Chief Executive of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

She replaces DHIVVYA O'CONNOR, who has been interim Chief Executive since PETER LEWIS left his position of 10 years in March.

Based in Fife, Docherty previously spent five years as Chief Executive of Scouts Scotland.

Docherty is also a board member of the Association of Chief Officers of Scottish Voluntary Organisations and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts.
