Hampstead Theatre announces new Chair

IRENE DORNER (pictured), named the ‘Most Powerful Woman in Banking’ in 2012 by American Banker and in 2013 ‘one of the 25 Most Powerful Women On Wall Street’ by Business Insider, has been named as the new Chairperson of the Board of Directors for Hampstead Theatre. Also Chair of Taylor Wimpey and global risk consultancy Control Risks, she also sits on the Boards of AXA, Rolls Royce, South East Asia Rainforest Research Partnership and St. Anne’s College, University of Oxford. Current Chair DAVID TYLER will stand down on 30 September and Dorner will join in January 2021. The interim Chair will be ADAM JONES, currently chair of the theatre’s Finance Committee.
