Works from the Crafts Council’s 1,500-piece collection of contemporary craft will go on display for the first time, in a new annual exhibition at its London gallery.

‘Making It Yours’, which opens in February, has been made possible by a £50,000 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The 2004 exhibition focuses on ceramics and will include items from the Craft Council’s Handling Collection as well as pieces by established artists and more recent additions including ‘Mad Kid’s Bedroom Wall Pot’ (pictured above), by this year’s Turner Prize winner Grayson Perry and Walter Keeler’s ‘Jugs’ (pictured below).
