UK Theatre has announced five new board members.
Talawa Theatre Company Executive Director and Joint CEO CAROLYN ML FORSYTH, Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre Director COLIN MARR, Creu Cymru Director LOUISE MILES-PAYNE and Birds of Paradise Theatre Company Producer MICHELLE ROLFE join as co-opted board members.
SAMIR BHAMRA, Founder and Artistic Director of Phizzical Productions, becomes a member of UK Theatre's new subscriber board.
The association says the recruits address skills gaps and the under-representation of some demographics in the current board.
President STEPHANIE SIRR said having a diverse board strengthens governance and makes its council more innovative and relevant.
