Violinist MARIA WŁOSZCZOWSKA has been announced as The Royal Northern Sinfonia's (RNS) new leader.

She succeeds BRADLEY CRESWICK, who led the RNS for more than 25 years.

During the 2020/21 season, Włoszczowska led the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the RNS.

In 2018, she won First Prize and Audience Award at the XXI Leipzig International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition.
