Alnwick Playhouse's Chief Executive and Artistic Director JO POTTS is stepping down after more than 10 years leading the theatre.
Since joining the Playhouse in 2011, Potts has overseen the introduction of a new box office system, website, digital cinema and satellite upgrade.
Potts said highlights during her tenure included creating new jobs in the arts sector and leading a £3.2m redevelopment project after Northumberland County Council purchased the theatre.
"I have enjoyed every moment of being part of this creative community and I am deeply grateful to my dedicated staff, volunteers and board for making it a pleasurable and satisfying experience," she said.
Alnwick Playhouse has begun recruitment for a new Artistic Director and Chief Executive, with applications open until November 4.
