New Chief Executive for Playwrights’ Studio

LOUISE STEPHENS will be the new Creative Director and Chief Executive at Playwrights’ Studio, Scotland, taking up her new role in July.

Currently Dramaturg for the Abbey Theatre, Amharclann Na Mainistreach, Stephens' career has included work as in-house dramaturg and in literary management at the Traverse and Royal Court Theatres.

She has also worked as a dramaturg and script reader with independent makers and theatre companies including the National Theatre of Scotland, Tron Theatre, tiata fahodzi, Curve, Live! Theatre and Rifco.
