New Chair for ABO

GAVIN REID, Chief Executive of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, has been appointed Chair of the Association of British Orchestras (ABO). He takes over from KATHRYN MCDOWELL, Managing Director of the London Symphony Orchestra.

The ABO has also appointed several new board members: HELEN SPROTT, Managing Director of the Philharmonia Orchestra; SIMON WEBB, General Manager of the BBC Philharmonic; and PHIL BOUGHTON, Director of Orchestra and Chorus for Opera North.
