The current Chief Conductor of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, EDWARD GARDNER, will be London Philharmonic Orchestra’s next Principal Conductor. His initial five-year contract will see him working with the orchestra for a minimum of 10 weeks per season starting in the 2021/22. He is succeeding VLADIMIR JUROWSKI, who will become the become the LPO’s Conductor Emeritus.
