ANDREW NAIRNE is to succeed MICHAEL HARRISON as Director of Kettle's Yard gallery in Cambridge. Since 2008, Nairne has been Executive Director, Arts for Arts Council England, and he was previously Director at Modern Art Oxford and at Dundee Contemporary Arts.

 

Ikon gallery has two new senior appointments to its management team: DEBBIE KERMODE joins as Deputy Director and TYLER CANN joins as Curator. Kermode moves from her role as Director of the arts education agency Bright Space and Cann was most recently at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery in New Zealand.

HOWARD BARNES is the new Theatre Director of the White Rock Theatre in Hastings, part of HQ Theatres. Barnes was most recently Director of Cultural Services for the London Borough of Islington, and before that was Head of Culture at the London Borough of Southwark.

LOUISE GILBERT has left the Rose Theatre in Kingston, where she was Press and PR Co-ordinator, to become Press & PR Officer, Olympics at Shakespeare's Globe. PETER LEONE will be managing press for the Rose's autumn season.

ALFREDO CRAMEROTTI, currently Senior Curator at QUAD Centre of Art, Media and Film in Derby, has been appointed as the new Director of Mostyn. He succeeds MARTIN BARLOW, who will step down in September after 14 years.

International theatre company Wildworks has two new members of staff: SUNITA PANDYA is now Executive Director, joining from Sadler's Wells; and CHARLIE BUNKER has been appointed General Manager, moving from Arts Council England.
 

JULIA POTTS is to be the new Executive Director of the Almeida Theatre. She has most recently been General Manager at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley, as well as Head of Creative Learning & Access for the Ambassador Theatre Group. She also chairs the Board of Trustees of Magpie Dance.

SIR RODNEY BROOKE CBE has been appointed Chairman of the Board at the West Yorkshire Playhouse. He takes over from Brian Bouttell who has been Chairman for the past four years. Brooke has been Chief Executive for West Yorkshire County Council, Chief Executive of the City of Westminster Council and Chief Executive of the Association of Metropolitan Authorities, and has also served on the Board of English National Opera. He is currently Chair of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education.

The Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre in Taunton has two new members of staff: JONATHAN MACHEN replaces BECKIE SMITH as Deputy Marketing Manager and ROWENA RUSSELL is the new Development Co-ordinator. Smith is moving to become Marketing & Press Manager at The Roses in Tewkesbury,

The Sage Gateshead has announced three new appointments to its team of directors. DOMINIC PARKER takes up the role of Director of Marketing and Communications, Fundraising and Customer Services; PHILLIP BAITCH takes on the newly created post of Director of Music North Trading; and ROS RIGBY OBE becomes Director for the whole Performance Programme. LUCY BIRD, the previous Director of Marketing and Communications has moved to lead the new agency Marketing Edinburgh.
