The Art Fund has announced that David Barrie will step down as Director and Trustee at the end of May, after 17 years leading the organisation.

Donna Munday (pictured) has been appointed interim Chief Executive of Sheffield Theatres. She has been Finance Director at the Royal Court Theatre, London, General Manager of Really Useful Theatres, Chief Executive of Royal and Derngate Theatres in Northampton and, most recently, interim Executive Director of Nimax Theatre.

The Lightbox in Woking has appointed Hannah Vernon (pictured) as its new PR and Press Officer. She replaces Stephanie Renouf.

Gloria Balakrishna has joined the Erin Arts Centre on the Isle of Man, and is the new Administrator of the Lionel Tertis International Viola Festival and Competition.

A new team takes its place at Hull Truck Theatre as the organisation moves into its new home. The company will be led by three directors: Creative Director, John Godber, Artistic Director, Gareth Tudor Price and Operations Director, Paul Marshall.

Janet Barnes has been reappointed as the Chair of the Yorkshire Regional Arts Council and a member of the national Arts Council by the DCMS, for a term of four years.

Sampad South Asian Arts, Birmingham has appointed two managers. Clayton Shaw (above), who was previously Combined Arts Officer at Arts Council England, West Midlands is now Operations Manager, and Urmala Jassal (above) has moved from Lighthouse in Wolverhampton to become Programme Manager.

Bright Space (UK) Ltd, which currently delivers the Creative Partnerships Schools programme in Birmingham, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, has appointed a new Director. Deborah Kermode (pictured), former Curator at the IKON Gallery in Birmingham and Producer for Fierce! Festival in the West Midlands, takes up her post in May.

Jo Simpson (pictured) is the new Learning and Development Officer at The Burton Art Gallery and Museum.
Dance South West has two new members of staff. Kate Barsby is Youth Dance Strategy Manager, and Helen Grubham is Marketing Officer.

Contact, Manchester has announced that Baruch “Baba” Israel (pictured) will be its new Artistic Director.
He succeeds John E McGrath who left earlier this year to become Artistic Director for National Theatre Wales.
