Kath Mainland (pictured) is the new Chief Executive of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society. She will take up the post in May following four years as Administrative Director of the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

Bristol Old Vic has appointed Tom Morris, currently Associate Director at the National Theatre, as Artistic Director, and Emma Stenning, Head of Producing at the Manchester International Festival, as Executive Director. They last worked together as Artistic and Executive Directors respectively at Battersea Arts Centre.
The new Creative Associates of National Theatre Wales are Catherine Paskell (pictured), who has worked most recently at the Unity Theatre, Liverpool, and Mathilde López (pictured), currently Literary Manager, Resident Director and Co-organiser of the International Festival for Emerging Artists for the Theatre Royal Stratford East.
Thomasina Carlyle (pictured) has joined Pentabus Theatre as Administrative Producer. She was previously Programme Director at Trading Faces, which ceased trading last year.
Apples & Snakes has a new Marketing Officer, Irenosen Okojie, to promote events in London.
The Place has announced that Isabel Tamen, a founder member of Richard Alston Dance Company, is to rejoin the company in the newly created role of Executive Director.
Ann Priest (pictured) is the new Pro Vice-Chancellor and Head of College of Art and Design and Built Environment at Nottingham Trent University. She is currently Dean of the university’s School of Art and Design, and replaces previous Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Simon Lewis, who retired in December.
The Point, Eastleigh, has appointed Christopher Durham as General Manager. He moves from his position as General Manager at Chipping Norton Theatre.
Larmer Tree Festival has appointed two new members of staff. Nicole Habgood is now Administrative Assistant, having graduated from The Arts Institute last year, and Julie Cotton takes on the new role of Festival Assistant, moving from the Kendal Calling festival in the Lake District.
Catherine Gill (pictured) has changed her role within South East Dance from Office Co-ordinator to Project Co-ordinator for ‘moving Voices’, a volunteer dance project.

Gwen Oakden is leaving Arts & Business North West, where she was Regional Manager, to become Head of Development at Morris Hargreaves McIntyre.
Yellow Earth Theatre Company has appointed two
Co-Artistic Directors, Philippe Cherbonnier and Jonathan Man. Cherbonnier, Yellow Earth’s Literary Associate for several years, works as a freelance Dramaturg for Theatre-Rites and as a director for Box Clever. Man has directed extensively, including work with Polka Theatre, Contact Theatre in Manchester, Soho Theatre, Southwark Playhouse and the Young Vic.
Rebecca Driver has left BBC Radio 3 to become Head of Press at English National Opera.
Sound It Out has appointed two new members of staff. Tim Jones (pictured) is Programme Officer – Youth, and Amelia Burr  is part-time Programme Officer – Inclusion.
Visiting Arts Communications Administrator, Felix Barnes, has moved to an editorial position in a publishing company. Sarah Wayne has joined as part -time Office Administrator and PA to the Executive Director. Will White, previously Communications Manager at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, has joined as Head of Communications and Development. Andy Kyriakides, who has been managing communications in an acting capacity, will now concentrate on the Visiting Arts websites. Donna Vose has been appointed as Freelance Programme Manager for the ‘1 mile’ pilot programme to link UK and international communities through creative and ecological practice.
The Chairman of the Joint Board of Scottish Arts Council and Scottish Screen is Richard Holloway, not Richard Holmes as reported in AP188.
