Sadler’s Wells has appointed Laura Stevenson (pictured) as General Manager, taking over from Chrissy Sharp. She joins from The Hayward, Southbank Centre, where she was Deputy Director.

Lindsey Jackson has joined the Voluntary Arts Network as Finance and Administration Officer. She replaces Debbie Brooks, who has moved to South Korea to teach English.

Louise Mitchell will become Director of Glasgow UNESCO City of Music from May. She is currently Director of Glasgow’s Concert Halls.

Jamie Watton (pictured), previously Senior Officer, Dance Strategy at Arts Council England’s national office, succeeds Mairead Turner as CEO/Artistic Director for South East Dance.

Northamptonshire’s Arts Development Team has four new members of staff: Lisa Wyatt is the Senior Administrator; Sophie Richardson is the Finance and Administration Assistant, Hazel Barnes is the Funding Support Co-ordinator, and Emma Stephens-Dunn is Literature Development Officer on a job-share basis with Kate Wilkinson.

David Thorpe is now the Welsh Co-ordinator for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
Ekow Eshun, Artistic Director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts, Alistair Spalding, Chief Executive and Artistic Director of Sadler’s Wells, and Rosemary Squire OBE, Joint CEO of The Ambassador Theatre Group Ltd, have been appointed as National Members of the Board of Arts Council England.

The new Chair of Sound Sense, the UK development agency for community music, is Catherine Pestano (pictured). She is a counsellor and mental health social worker as well as a practising community musician.

Duncan MacInnes has left the Promoters Arts Network of the Highlands and Islands to concentrate on event promotions on the Isle of Skye.

Craig Gamble Pugh (pictured) is the new Chief Executive of Greentop Circus Centre in Sheffield. It is the main place for circus training in Yorkshire, and one of only four circus training centres in the UK.

Lord Browne of Madingley has been elected Chair of Trustees at the Tate. He has been a Trustee since August 2007.
