JONATHAN CHURCH, who is Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Bath’s summer season alongside running his own production company, has become the first Chair of The Marlowe Theatre Trust. He was formerly Artistic Director and Joint Chief Executive of Chichester Festival Theatre.

DAVID BRYAN, who has chaired Voluntary Arts’ BAME Advisory Panel for 12 months, and is currently a member of Arts Council England’s National Council, has become Voluntary Arts’ new Chair. He replaces outgoing Chair LOUISE DE WINTER, who has now completed the maximum six-year term on the board.
Executive Director of Camden People’s Theatre since 2014, AMBER MASSIE-BLOMFIELD has announced she will step down at the start of 2018. She will go freelance to work as an arts producer and consultant, and to develop her non-fiction writing.
Creative writing charity Arvon has appointed JEREMY TREGLOWN as its new Chair. Treglown joins after positions chairing the Warwick Writing Programme, and literary prize committees including Booker, Whitbread (now Costa) and Encore.

Executive Director of London’s Bush Theatre since 2014, and previously Marketing Director at The Lowry, JON GILCHRIST will join HOME in Manchester from January 2018 as the organisation’s new Executive Director.
London’s Horniman Museum and Gardens has appointed NICK MERRIMAN as its new Chief Executive. The Director of the Manchester Museum and interim Director of the Whitworth will succeed JANET VITMAYER in May 2018, when she retires after 20 years in post.
