A study by PricewaterhouseCoopers has discovered that poor data management costs UK businesses more than £1 billion a year.
75% of companies surveyed had experienced problems as a result of faulty data. Less than 50% of companies had complete confidence in their own data. However, by contrast, three quarters of respondents reported that investment in effective data management had improved bottom-line results. Nearly 60% cut processing costs and over 40% had boosted sales through better analysis of data. For a full copy of the report, contact Henry Kenyon at PricewaterhouseCoopers t: 020 7804 3000.
