Arts Council England (ACE) has appointed a team of nine Lead Advisors to build on the work of the previous advisory panels and oversee the delivery of its corporate plan.

The new team will cover diversity and education, as well as a range of artforms. It will not include advisors for capital and stabilisation, for which the current advisory panels will remain in place until these programmes are reviewed. The advisors will each chair a task group and report back to ACE?s Executive Board. The new advisors are Sue Hoyle (Dance), Tom Barker (Interdisciplinary Arts), Jackie Kay (Literature), John Summers (Music), Grahame Morris (Theatre), Robert Cogo Fawcett (Touring), Alice Rawsthorn (Visual Arts), Deirdre Figueiredo (Diversity) and Lesley King (Education).
