News ? Donation helps develop Kelvingrove Art Gallery

Millionaire sportswear entrepreneur, Tom Hunter has donated £5m to Kelvingrove Art Gallery (pictured) to build a new education wing. Up to £1.6m has been made available by The Hunter Foundation (THF) for work on the Campbell Hunter Education Wing with a further £3.1m available for longer term development of the collection.

In what is being described as a European first, a partnership of THF, Glasgow City Council and the Kelvingrove Refurbishment Appeal will jointly develop content, outreach and educational programmes for the Gallery.
