A £10m purpose-built cultural centre opens this week, providing a focal point in the £110m redevelopment of the Ropewalks district of Liverpool.
The centre will provide a home to FACT, the commissioning and presenting agency for film, video and new media art, and will also house the Moving Image Touring & Exhibition Service.
