Kirsty Lynn has been named as the new Chief Executive for the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. She has been a member of the Orchestra?s senior management for three years as Director of Development, during which time the organisation?s fundraising income doubled.

Ann Berni, Press Relations Co-ordinator for the Hayward Gallery, is to become acting Press Relations Manager to cover the maternity leave of Alison Wright. Arwen Fitch is to join the Hayward staff from the National Gallery press office, as acting Press Relations Co-ordinator.

The Orchestra of St John?s has appointed Georgina Chambers as Development Executive to assist with the Orchestra?s fundraising activities. She was formerly assistant to the Chief Executive.

Sue Bradburn, press and public relations administrator at North West Arts Board, is joining the Royal College of Art in London as Press Officer.


The Culture Company has appointed Nicola Stephenson (pictured) as Artistic Director to develop its 2001 programme. Nicola Stephenson has worked in the visual arts for ten years, commissioning, curating and managing projects in Yorkshire and Scotland.

Jo Broad, formerly manager of the Arts Service for St Helens Council, has joined East England Arts as Lifelong Learning Officer, with responsibility for the new DCMS / ACE Creative Partnerships scheme.

The new head of the Fundraising Support Unit at Kingston Smith Chartered Accountants is David Coe. He is currently Vice President and Executive Director Europe of Orbis International.

David Pearce has joined Plymouth Pavilions as Director of Operations. He was formerly General Manager of Cardiff University Students Union.

Andy Cole, Deputy Head of Marketing for the RSC for the past four years, is joining bfi Exhibitions as Head of Press and Marketing.

Sponsorship consultancy Kallaway Ltd has appointed Sue Worsey as Director of Communications. She was previously Head of Public Relations for the marketing consultancy Cardington plc.
