Former BBC Director General Greg Dyke will be the new Chair of the British Film Institute (BFI). He replaces Anthony Minghella, who has led the BFI since 2002.

Tony Heaton becomes the new Chief Executive of the disability arts organisation, Shape. He has been the Director of Holton Lee, a short-stay residential centre for Disabled people and carers, and was instrumental in the development of the National Disability Arts Collection and Archive.

Former Director of the National Campaign for the Arts, Victoria Todd is to become the new Chair of Akademi South Asian Dance UK. Rekha Kotecha leaves her role as Information & Marketing Officer after four years in post.

Amy Walton has joined Salisbury Arts Centre as Marketing Assistant. She previously worked with the West Wiltshire Access Group.

Julie Patterson, whose previous role was as Business Liaison Manager for the University of Sheffield, has joined Eventus as Development Manager. Dean Biddell also joins as Administration and Marketing Assistant.

QUAD, Derby’s new centre for art and film, has appointed Kamal Devani in the role of Finance Manager. He was previously Financial Controller for Midland Wine in Nottingham. Adam Buss (pictured) has been promoted to the role of Marketing Manager.

Colin McClatchie is taking up the post of Chair of the Board of Directors at Scottish Opera. He joined the Board of Scottish Opera in 2003, and succeeds William Taylor QC, who has now completed his three-year term of office.

Rick Haythornthwaite succeeds Lord Hollick as the new Chairman of Southbank Centre. Haythornthwaite comes from the oil, gas and general industrial sectors, having previously held senior positions at BP, Premier Oil, Blue Circle and Invensys. He is presently Chair of the Board of the Almeida Theatre, Chair of the Corporate Advisory Group, Tate and a Board Member of the British Council.

Andrea Sheppard (pictured) has been appointed as Sales Development Manager for The Mayflower Theatre, Southampton. Her previous role was Marketing Manager at The Point in Eastleigh.

Bath Spa University has appointed Martin Pople to be the first Director of Bath Spa Live. His last job was with the Clore Leadership Programme in London.

Charles Lauder (pictured) will replace Wyllie Longmore as Chair of the Board at Contact in Manchester. He has previously been a film and television director, and worked in the design and delivery of diversity and inclusion strategies.

Giant, a developer of inclusive arts for children in Scotland, has appointed musician Dave Boyd as first ever Musician in Residence.

Dick Penny (pictured), Managing Director of Watershed, becomes the new Executive Chair at the Bristol Old Vic.

Andy Arnold will be leaving his position as Artistic Director at the Arches to take up the post of Director of the Tron Theatre, Glasgow.

The new General Manager of Arts and Entertainment for the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk is Les Miller (pictured), formerly Executive Director of The Broadway, Barking.
