engage, the professional association for gallery education, has announced that it will be managing an £80,000 grants fund for the Department for Education and Skills (DfES).
ARTFULL will support 16 school/gallery projects across England, from Bexhill-on-Sea to Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The project aims to demonstrate the benefits to teachers and their pupils of working with visual arts and crafts, through a variety of artforms including installation, digital and Internet-based work, using found objects, sketchbooks and writing.
