Steven Hadley, Audience Development Manager of Audiences Northern Ireland, lets us know where he likes to dawdle on the Net.

1. http://www.epicurious.com

Recipe site, including obscure ideas for obscure ingredients for entertaining obscure guests or people you happen to be related to. Also handy if you return from holiday abroad and are trying to recreate something you ate, but can only remember the name of it - the reviews from cooks worldwide are usually quite accurate too.

2. http://http://sxc.hu/

An incredible resource of over 100,000 stock photos, which are available to download free of charge. Image size can vary from a paltry 640x480 pixels, right up to a screen-shattering 2048x3072 pixels. If you're designing your new brochure on a tight budget, you could do a lot worse than check out this site.

3. http://www.hostelworld.com

Cheap rooms, guest houses, hostels and hotels from around the world with online booking. Now there?s no excuse not to get away from your line manager/artistic director/chief exec (delete as appropriate).

4. http://www.fuel4arts.com

A great way to refresh a jaded arts marketer?s thinking: high-octane arts marketing tools and ideas from the other side of the world.

5. http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/newsroom/bluemarble/bluemarble.html

Awe-inspiring, intimate and informative are some of the words synonymous with this incredible website. Lose yourself in satellite photography featuring highly detailed images of the Earth and its myriad landscapes, oceans and man-made features.
