YMCA champions project to turn former Co-op into arts hub

The YMCA is pushing forward plans to convert a former Co-operative building in Wolverhampton into an arts centre and apartments. An earlier proposal by the city’s Central Youth Theatre to develop the building as its permanent home has been dropped, with the time limit for using a £400k Arts Council grant having expired.
