Sir Cameron Mackintosh buys two more West End theatres

Sir Stephen Waley-Cohen has sold the Victoria Palace Theatre and Ambassadors Theatre to Mackintosh, taking his portfolio of venues to nine and making him the second largest London operator after the Ambassador Theatre Group, which owns one more.
