Setback for new Southwark theatre plan

Developers hoping to build a new 350-seat theatre in Southwark, south London, have had their 30-storey, rocket-shaped design rejected by Southwark Council for being “totally inappropriate” and for failing to “enhance or support” the surrounding area.
