Space for 100 artists will be created in a former navy building at the Royal William Yard in Plymouth, after the project won more than £2m from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). It is hoped that talented graduates from Plymouth University and Plymouth College of Art will be encouraged to stay in the area.
