Kaleido Disability and Deaf Arts has launched two new websites. The Kaleido Disabled Artists Social Network allows artists in the south west to meet one another online and find information about local opportunities and events. Kaleido’s own new website is a hub for the latest information about Disability and Deaf arts across the region and includes a gallery of artists’ work.

A new paper, ‘Reviewing the contribution of culture in regeneration – the Liverpool Model for longitudinal research and impact assessment’ has resulted from the Northwest Culture Observatory (NWCO) knowledge transfer seminar earlier this year. The NWCO has also produced a new guide to creating public value.

The UK Workforce Hub and The Institute of Fundraising have collaborated to revise and improve the fundraising National Occupational Standards (NOS). The standards, which were approved on 14 April are specifically for fundraisers, but also apply to those who fundraise as part of their work, and to voluntary or paid fundraising managers.

Changes to Arts Council England’s Grants for the Arts programme will come into effect on 20 May. The key differences include additions to the eligibility criteria, changes to the application form and changes to the assessment procedure. ACE will continue to receive applications made to the current programme until 9 May, but will not be processing any new applications between 10 and 19 May.

Creative and Cultural Skills has launched a new web portal for careers in the creative industries. Creative Choices supplies tools, knowledge and networks to support individuals and businesses.

The Visual Arts Data Service has created a new online resource offering access to 100,000 images from visual arts collections, including the National Inventory of Continental European Paintings, the Woolmark Company Archive and the Central Saint Martins Museum and Study Collection.

The Public Art Resource + Research Scotland (PAR+RS) has launched its new website. This is being developed by the Scottish Arts Council to promote excellence and innovation within public art by building capacity, knowledge and expertise.
