Half of Brits dislike idea of female a Hamlet, finds Yougov poll

A survey of over 2,000 people asked how positively they viewed race- and gender-swapping in classic theatre roles, finding 48% of people don’t want a woman to play Hamlet and 20% oppose black actors in the part.
